  1. Result: 0-4 ========== Home Team Manager: @Laid Back Yeti Franchise: Genk Players Info Scorers: Assists: Clean Sheet: MoTM (if applicable): ========== Away Team Manager: Epone Franchise: Real Sociedad Player Info Scorers: Hamdallah, Trossard, Ferreira x2 Assists: Zivkovic, Trossard Clean Sheet: MoTM (if applicable): Ferreira ========== Match Report: http://proevonetwork.com/forums/forum/172-xbox-division-1/ Lossl had his gloves warmed up in this game rightly. Until the 33rd minute - the game was quite even. In fact - 1-0 at half time probably didn't do Genk justice as they kept themselves in the game however Hamdallah, as he has done all season, was the tailsman for Sociedad and once again made the difference. After the half time interval - Sociedad came out with their tails up with Trossard connecting on the end of a Zivkovic corner. Ferreira then got in amongst the goals with an effort from 20 yards out. He then thought he'd do himself one better in a similar position on the pitch. Trossard squared the ball to Ferreira who struck the ball first time - it connected with both posts then went in! GG mate - was a good chat. All the best for rest of the season.
  2. Result: 2-2 ========== Home Team Manager: @Leonidas 540bc Franchise: Olympiakos Players Info Scorers: Horgan, Van Duinen Assists: Horgan, Dack Clean Sheet: MoTM (if applicable): Van Duinen ========== Away Team Manager: Epone Franchise: Real Sociedad Player Info Scorers: Koscielny, Hamdallah Assists: Andre Andre Clean Sheet: MoTM (if applicable): ========== Match Report: So - won't even lie - Horgan has put away goal of the month. @Leonidas 540bc needs to show what he did. Sociedad headed the ball out of the box after a corner kick was swung in - Horgan volleys it first time from 30 yards out and it loops beyond Jose Sa. The goal deflated me for the entire match - I couldn't believe it - things were made worse when Leo didn't take his foot off the pedal and made it 2-0 just before half time. Sociedad went all out attack in the second half and Koscielny again showed he can play as an emergency front man when needed - making it 2-1 by lashing in from inside the box. Hamdallah, ever the tailsman for Sociedad, had a few chances and finally took one when Andre Andre squared it to him in the box to slide home. There was a frantic finish to the game as both sides were looking to claim all 3 points and Olympiakos had a golden chance but Jose Sa came out on top in a 1v1. Another game, another crazy finish - GG Leo. Get that goal submitted to GOTM!!
  3. Result: 3-1 ========== Home Team Manager: Epone Franchise: Real Sociedad Players Info Scorers: Hamdallah x2, Own Goal, Assists: Zivkovic, Lees Melou Clean Sheet: MoTM (if applicable): Hamdallah ========== Away Team Manager: @payne wales Franchise: Sporting Braga Player Info Scorers: Baba Assists: Clean Sheet: MoTM (if applicable): ========== Match Report: Tough game for Sociedad. Braga started off well with Baba scoring from a deflection. What looked to be a cross took a deflection from Montiel to send Jose Sa the wrong way. Braga remained in control for the rest of the half until Sociedad got in at half time and got an absolute bollocking from their coach. Braga obviously got their own team talk though as they remained resolute until the 78th minute when Hamdallah finally levelled for the home side. It was frustrating for Sociedad given the amount of times they had pepped the Braga goal with shots, and equally so, Braga must have felt the frustration given that their own defender lashed the ball into his own net (this was weird) to make it 2-1. Braga then went all out attack to try and level the game up, and came close, but Lees Melou fed the ball through to Hamdallah who killed the game off, as he has done so many times during the season for Sociedad. GG pal and thanks for playing.
  4. Result: 1-1 ========== Home Team Manager: Epone Franchise: Real Sociedad Players Info Scorers: Hamdallah Assists: Clean Sheet: MoTM (if applicable): Hamdallah ========== Away Team Manager: @tezmac Franchise: Monaco Player Info Scorers: Kutucu Assists: Rigoni Clean Sheet: MoTM (if applicable): ========== Match Report: Tough game again!! Both keepers played out of their skin to keep their sides in it. Frustrating for both of us I reckon but was a good chat and a good game all round. Well played.
  5. Result: 3-0 ========== Home Team Manager: Epone Franchise: Real Sociedad Players Info Scorers: Trossard, Zivkovic, Bistrovic Assists: Nacho Martinez, Ferreira, Zivkovic Clean Sheet: Jose Sa MoTM (if applicable): Zivkovic ========== Away Team Manager: @scarycaravan Franchise: Palestino Player Info Scorers: Assists: Clean Sheet: MoTM (if applicable): ========== Match Report: A game decided by finishing more than anything. Struggling for form lately Sociedad switched up their formation for a more possession-based style which seemed to work. The first goal came from Trossard darting in from his wide forward position, cutting inside and exploiting space that Hamdallah created with a dummy run. The second goal came late in the second half, with Zivkovic being fed by Ferreira from the edge of the 18 yard box as he copied Trossards run from the first goal. Finally, Zivkovic turned provider from a pinpoint corner kick and Bistrovic lost his marker heading home the third. Could have been a different game had star striker Iago Aspas been fed the ball more! GG mate!
  6. No mate - Jose Sa just had a bad day at the office. It happens.
  7. just for stats purposes konchelny = koscielny
  8. Result: 4-3 ========== Home Team Manager: Epone Franchise: Real Sociedad Players Info Scorers: Montiel, Hamdallah x2, Zivkovic Assists: Zivkovic, Sissoko Clean Sheet: MoTM (if applicable): Hamdallah ========== Away Team Manager: @Chriskeenan90 Franchise: Sukhothai Player Info Scorers: Giroud, Cheryshev, Shelvey Assists: Targett, Cheryshev Clean Sheet: MoTM (if applicable): ========== Match Report: Edgy game. First half was really tight with either side really getting anything going attacking-wise. Then in usual PEN fashion the second half opened up completely and it was goals galore. It could have went either way and a 4-4 draw was probably a fair result however Sukhothai (wtf is that name) were unlucky and hit the post and had several chances to put away more. In the end Real Sociedad came away with the win but unless they improve defensively they can't get the rub of the green forever. GG mate - you'll be gunning for revenge in the next one I'm sure.
  9. f**k it took me this long to realise?
  10. Yeah - @Griff scored a goal against me in a league game. My defender tried to control the ball with his chest and it trampolined off him to his striker who nipped in a put it away. Have noticed that any first touch after sprinting can be quite bad too so they've increased the penalty on sprinting it seems.
  11. GG @Griff stats agreed. That's the last time I give Bobby Reid a bollocking.
  12. Good game mate! Pereya is an animal!! Felt like a proper premier league game!! End to end and didn't stop. Was great fun.
  13. Result: 3-2 ========== Home Team Manager: Epone Franchise: Real Sociedad Players Info Scorers: Hamdallah x3 Assists: Lees Melou, Suarez, Reid Clean Sheet: MoTM (if applicable): Hamdallah ========== Away Team Manager: @Leonidas 540bc Franchise: Olympiakos Piraeus Player Info Scorers: Dicko x2 Assists: Horgan, Kololli Clean Sheet: MoTM (if applicable): ========== Match Report: Another classic game with @Leonidas 540bc. Sociedad started off strong with 2 goals from Hamdallah in the first half but Leo gave his lads a bollocking at half time and they came out firing with Dicko grabbing two of his own. Hamdallah netted his third and hat-trick with a cool finish. Was a tough tough game and can honestly say playing Leo is always enjoyable, win draw or loss. Good game pal - looking forward to the next one.
