Match Report

The FLM El Classico!!!! The first of many to be had in this season, and it was a mad one! The first half was a fine display by the away side, dominating play. They played some delightful football, and were blocking off most paths when the Racing boys were attacking. Radoja put Huracan ahead on the 13th minute from a minky corner, keeper made a good attempt to save but the shot was just too close and too powerful to be stopped. The Racing keeper did come out with some noice saves though to keep it 1-0 at HT.

Huracan continued their dominance from the restart and grabbed an early 2nd half goal from a lovely strike by Bou. By the 65th minute the Racing manager had to make a change in formation as nothing was working with his plan A (I had no plan B so had to make one up  ). Off went Sliti, on came Rhodes, and a slight formation change :shifty: . And the reply from the home side was pretty much instant! Huracan had a throw in which went to a Racing player, the ball got played to Rhodes who blasted it with a Frillypink finish from a bit of an angle. The home side had a good spell from here which resulted in another goal. Assisted by Rhodes and finished by Caicedo who continues his goal scoring run. The home side created a few more chances but couldn't punish a rattled Huracan side. Who had a few chances of their own towards the end of the game but couldn't find the net.

We both learnt a lesson in this game, Jakey is the one that got on the wrong end of the lesson. I'll let him explain

Well played lad, f**king mental game

Yeah great game dude!

Huracan went to their nearest rivals backyard & took a point. At 2-0 & comfortable, naivety galore ensued & the draw became welcome with the hosts knocking

Regardless, it's confidence affirmed as the Great One comfortably handled his nearest competitor in the division for the majority of the game. Should Huracan not receive the call to take the vacant Prem position clearly more suited to their superior ability, the run to the title should be a special one.

Get the Cigars ready boys! :w:
