Match Report

Another game without a win for Vitoria though not for lack of trying.

In the first half Vitoria had numerous chances but a combination of poor finishing and a star :shifty:performance from BRAVO meant it looked like the game was going to go into half time level.  INUI had other ideas and with St Pauli's first big chance lost his marker, the only mistake made all game by makeshift left back LAXALT, cut inside the defence and curled home a finish.

The second half carried on in a similar vein to the first with Vitoria spurning good chances and BRAVO covering himself in glory.  The one time he was beaten, a lovely volley from LUONGO, the defender on the line was well placed to clear the danger.  There was to be no late equaliser, even when for the last 30 seconds ClaretMatt switched to a 2-3-5 formation for a "Hail Mary" throw in, the ball bounced out to BUSTOS 25 yards from goal but his well struck first time shot went agonisingly wide.

BRAVO was, deservedly, MOTM.

Well played @Seanachais, good to chat too.

Catch you for the next one.

Agreed

Cheers Matt, an enjoyable game as always. Bravo on blue form was unbeatable. It was just as well for me, as I was under constant pressure, defo didnt deserve to win this game. Inui with the sucker punch right on the stroke of half time. If you play like this all season you wont be for the drop. All the best bus, I look forward to the return.
