#1 Majeed WARIS

Description: A very agile striker, short, fast, low header accuracy, number 10, nothing better than starting with an homage to Edilson Capetinha. On loan from Porto to Nantes. Real fun to use, Ghana international, 27 years old, low AWOL risk and many seasons ahead of him.

Game: PRO EVO SOCCER 3?

Mode: Master league offline

Players: Gerard Pique & Guiseppe Rossi

Both aged 16 these players were already playable despite their low 60 rated overall.

With great quick potential you got to use these guys at all levels of their career as they raced through the upgrades becoming mid 90 level players after 5 or 6 years

  I was better with 61 rated Rossi than with many of the top strikers, I knew him inside out and would batter all my friends with him

You think people will give away their gems so easily? :shifty:

Back in Pes 4 there was this Colombian CF called Muruzzo, a fake name. He was nothing special, not young, not fast, but I bought him in the winter transfer window with my Crystal Palace master league (I tried to keep it realistic with no slags) and he turned the season around, scored 20 goals and got me to second place.

Another favourite was Ajax legend Wamberto and Peruvian striker Maestri (but this was back in Winning Eleven 4)

Yeah LOL.

Obviously Nelson Cuevas (Can't find his PES2, PES3, PES4 stats, but was basically similar) was the man in those days and Paraguay was my Gem Team when everyone would be Argentina/France/Brazil etc and I'd hand out the D with:

Nelson Cuevas, Nelson Haedo Valdez, Santa Cruz, Jose Saturnino Cardozo, Carlos Gamarra, Denis Caniza and a young Edgar Barretto.

Good times.

#2 Weston MCKENNIE

Photo:

weston-mckennie-of-fc-schalke-04-dfl-reg

Description: A young and talented center midfielder, current USA International and Schalke 04 player, got to see him the first time while following CB.png 69 CARTER-VICKERS playing for the national team, he quickly got my attention, in game he has the Box-to-box card making him as dynamic and energetic as in real life. Coupling his quality, potential, age, both USA and Bundesliga not being licensed, I would say there's a medium AWOL risk, which in turn makes him more suited to an auction entrance to PEN, due to the full AWOL guarantee, if you buy a player at an auction, whatever the amount you pay will be reimbursed in his eventual absence from the game.

#3 Josip PIVARIC

Photo:

Description: A full Croatia international and Dynamo Kyiv player, at 29 years of age, he has plenty of experience and still some years ahead of him. In the World Cup, every time he replaced Strinic, Croatia improved. Spite being 73ovr, all his stats are in the right places and he also has the Defensive Full-back card as well.

#5 Gusavo GÓMEZ

Photo:

Description: Only 25 but a full Paraguay international with 29 caps and an important piece for Palmeiras, winning this season's league in Brazil, following the steps of Carlos Gamarra, Chiqui Arce and Catalino Rivarola. Currently on loan from AC Milan with the option to buy, which will be happily confirmed. In game, amazing stats for a 74, with Heading, Man Marking, Acrobatic Clear and Fighting Spirit plus a cool Re@l f@ce.

#7 FABIANO Leismann

Photo:

fabiano-leismann-2018-pes-stats-jpg.1000

Description: Currently on loan to Internacional from Palmeiras, with a contract til 2021, he is a must have for anybody looking for defensive versatility. 27 years old, 1,88m, good technique, defensive full-back, man marking and interception, he goes up in rating as a CB, 72 to 73. I would say the chances of him being used by Luis Felipe Scolari at Palmeiras next year are high, since he fits the profile liked by the manager.

#8 Rene KRHIN

Photo:

Rene-Krhin-FC-Nantes.jpg

Description: A Nantes and Slovenia international with 38 CAPS, he has tremendous experience at 28 years old. To me his differential is his huge melon, I don't know if it's a placebo effect, but it seems that players with big heads play a little better in PES, maybe due to the gravitational pull of their Jupiter head, it firms them to the ground wile unbalancing the other players around.
