Coquelin & Kante - Super Smash Brothers

Written by
Spanish Division 1 side Espanyol have splashed the cash and reinforced their midfield with two of finest French midfielders available in the Pro Evo Network market. Manager Darren Addison has been over the moon since the signings of Francis Coquelin and N'Golo Kante became official. In the sharktank known as the PS4 Division 1 a strong midfield is an absolute necessity, and with these two recent additions the Espanyol midfield is stronger than ever before.

Francis Coquelin the destroyer of men arrived at Espanyol via a free agent Friday(FAF) auction for 45m PENce and instantly slotted into the DMF role in Addsion's team. The Frenchman started his career at Arsenal spending most of his time out on loan at Lorient, Frieburg and Charlton before injuries to key men at Arsenal forced the club to recall him and Coquelin took this chance with both hands. After Finishing an impressive season with the Gunners finishing 2nd in the BPL the Frenchman made the move to the Pro Evo Network first division and looks to continue his growth as a great defensive midfielder.

N'Golo Kante makes up the partnership of this impressive midfield duo and his story is somewhat a fairy tale and overnight rise to fame. He was playing his football in French Ligue 2 for Caen until Leicester City saw something in him and took the gamble to sign him and that gamble paid off tenfold. He helped his team win the BPL in an historic season that will go down in history. His style of play is best described as a box to box midfielder breaking up play and starting his own teams attacks with neat passes. His amazing season earned him a big money move to Chelsea but after a change of heart he decided to move to the illustrious Pro Evo Network Leagues and join Espanyol from Ronin's Newcastle Utd for an estimated 45m PENce.

The partnership of Coquelin and Kante looks to be perfect combination of a destroyer and box to box which seem to compliment each other very well. The Duo have sparked a mini revival helping their club pick up 5 wins in a row including an impressive 5-0 victory of Niko's Sporting Lisbon which has sent a message out to the other teams that Espanyol are back and mean business. Fans of the blue and white have been drooling over this formidable partnership and hope to see them strut their stuff in Barcelona for years to come.
