Keep it in the cupboard, much to the horror of the missus I prefer dark chocolate anyway but the “treats box” is in the cupboard too and it’s generally just packed with a variety of chocolates for the wife and kids

Always been one to debate and yet all shops, supermarkets etc don’t keep it in the fridge either…

I keep chocolate in the cupboard.

Mrs Bluebird keeps it in the freezer, which I hate.

I swear the only reason she does it is to stop me pinching it.

No, much better at room temperature (only if its really hot for some days and it starts getting softer its worth putting it in the fridge)

I only do it for things like chocolate buttons, I wouldn’t be chucking a Yorkie in there as I’d have no teeth/jaw left when eating it

Doesn't putting chocolate in the fridge just delay the 'melting in the mouth' process which is the goal of eating it in the first place?

Maybe you lot can hack that s**t but I'm more like Mr Perez's 16-24 yo demographic and I demand to be gratified a lot quicker tyvm.

Only absolute f**king reprobates put chocolate in the fridge*.

*unless the temperature/climate in your house so warm that it'll otherwise compromise the structural integrity of said chocolate.

It elongates the process, thus giving greater gratification for a longer time :hyper:

For me, it's like having sex.

Why unnecessarily elongate the process?

depends.

In the winter here in Greece its around 12-15 degrees - so fine to leave on the shelf.

Summer it's around 32-36 degrees and the chocolate turns to slop - imagine space food. So has to be fridged
