Just so you all know, this is not mandatory and it will not mean that your deadline day is impacted in any way if you choose not to donate.

The first deadline day we ran, there were a few people that were on not much cash and couldn't make any moves and had the Bart Simpson broken leg meme on the go, which I disliked.

So I think the 2nd deadline day, someone suggested we set up a charity and if anyone donates, they get x amount of PENce and it means that they can participate in TDD as well. Went down a storm and we raised on average a grand per site per deadline day.

So good cause and all that, but don't feel obliged to donate.

Its the draw of being part of something the whole community has gotten involved in, no negativity, no s**te bants, no grudges/vendettas, just generosity and doing something good :D

For anybody intrigued.

Red Ass was a charity game played at meetups.

All people who attended stood against a wall with their backs to the kicker.

The kicker would then pay to fire the ball at the wall of bodies. This was usually charged at £5 ( for 3 shots ).

Pretty sure people who didn't attend were hiring someone to strike a ball at a certain person for them.

Idea was to hit them on the ass with the ball , but being amateur players and all things were generally a bit wayward

Good fun even stood in the wall.

All the money went to charity and some people were very generous.

Think we made just shy of £200 just from that for the charity

Some people could hit a ball, f**k me :firefirefire:

Aha, I thought it would be red botty…not a clue why they call it that here (or maybe it’s just amongst people I know)…

Key question though, cheeks in pants or out?

Sounds like a game I used to play in school. We would juggle the ball between a couple friends and whoever dropped the ball 3 times would have to bend over against the wall and everyone else would take a shot

@Chriskeenan90.regardless of what you donate or don't ..I'll donate £500. It's for charity.

Will still triple what you decide to donate.

I don't love pigeons, but they are beings.

I always donate. Probably be more if I had your bank account by the sounds of it 🤣

Will ring up my mate Raab and ask him to drop off a box of mince pies and some Quality Street to the food bank.
